你有想过生命是如何被创造出来的吗？

我想在创造生命的时候造物主也没有那么严谨，或许是掷骰子来创造。

或许造物主就是个孩子，ta只是在玩一个有着简单规则的游戏，便创造出无限的奇迹与变化，于是有了千奇百怪的生命，有了我们。

《孟德儿的游戏》便是如此。这是一款结合卡牌策略与生物演化的沙盘游戏，通过有限的规则创造出无尽的演化可能，灵感来源于生命游戏。

游戏玩法

• 创造与交配：使用主体卡牌和部件卡牌，在六边形地块上创造新生物！当相同颜色的生物相遇时，它们会繁衍后代，继承父母的部分特征。

• 食物链：生物拥有不同的寿命，通过卡牌叠buff改变寿命。可捕食食物链中的其他生物以延长寿命。

玩家的目标是尽可能长时间地维持生物的演化。游戏在无法进行任何有效操作且演化无进展时结束。

在无尽拼拼乐里当个哈皮造物主吧！体验从有限规则中诞生的无限可能性。

这款游戏是2024年CIGA Game Jam的作品，主题是“有限与无限”（Limited And Limitless）

Have you ever wondered how life is created?

Perhaps when the creator made life, they weren’t so meticulous—maybe they used dice to create it.

Maybe the creator is just a child, playing a simple game with basic rules, and in the process, they created endless miracles and variations—thus, life was born, with all its strange creatures, including us.

Mendel’s Game is just like that. It’s a sandbox game combining card strategy and biological evolution, where infinite evolutionary possibilities are created from a set of simple rules, inspired by the Game of Life.

Gameplay

• Creation and Breeding: Use organism cards and component cards to create new life forms on hexagonal tiles! When organisms of the same color meet, they will breed and inherit traits from their parents.

• Food Chain: Organisms have different lifespans, which can be modified by stacking buffs through cards. They can also hunt other creatures in the food chain to extend their lifespan.

The goal of the game is to sustain the evolution of organisms for as long as possible. The game ends when no meaningful moves can be made and evolution stalls.

Be a happy creator in this endless puzzle game and experience the infinite possibilities born from limited rules.
